Salman Khan is not releasing 'Kick 2' on Eid 2020, clarifies helmer Sajid Nadiadwala

Ever since Salman Khan's movie Inshallah with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, co-starring Alia Bhatt, has been scrapped, it has left the audiences wondering what went wrong. Till the time we could actually understand what really went wrong, Salman made another cryptic announcement.

While revealing that he would not be shooting for Inshallah, Salman also promised that he would bring another film on Eid 2020. In fact the cryptic tweet was a line from his movie Kick, which made us wonder if the superstar was talking about Kick 2.

“Itna mat sochna mere baare mein, dil mein aata hoon.. aur Eid pe bhi,” wrote Salman Khan while making the announcement. However, clarifying that is not the case, Kick helmer Sajid Nadiadwala in an interview, as reported by PTI, said, “We are writing it. It is not coming on Eid. The news came (of the sequel releasing on Eid) because I had gone to his (Salman) place, he asked how much I am ready, I told him I have written one draft and I would need four to six months to rewrite the draft, dialogues. I would be ready with the script by Eid.”

On the work front, Salman Khan will next appear in the third installment of his franchise Dabangg. Dabangg 3, directed by Prabhudheva, will give us more insight into the character of inspector Chulbul Pandey aka Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan etc.
