Salman Khan flaunts his love for Katrina Kaif, sings Happy Birthday for her at IIFA press conference in New York

Katrina Kaif turns a year older on Sunday, but Salman Khan kick started her birthday celebrations at the IIFA press conference in New York

Anupam Kher, Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan turned up for the first press conference of IIFA 2017 and talked about their experience with the global awards show, but Salman who stood right next to lady in red, Katrina Kaif had only his "Tiger Zinda Hai" co-star in his mind. When Salman Khan was asked about the date of the big awards night, the actor covered up with his wit and said, " I am very bad with dates. The only date I remember is Katrina's birthday." He didn't stop there and told the press that Katrina's birthday is on July 16 and started singing, " Happy birthday to you..Happy Birthday dear Katrina, " before moving forward to give her a peck on the check.

And when reporters asked about his plans Katrina's birthday, Salman had another humorous take at it. The actor said, " It's not a national event. India mein toh chuti hai, shayad US mein bhi ho jaye."

Katrina Kaif had a big smile all this while and returned the favour at another limited media gathering. When asked about memories of her birthday when she turned 18, pat came the reply, "I met Salman."
