Soon after Alia Bhatt was confirmed for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next titled Inshallah, social media went beserk over her news of being romantically paired with Salman Khan. While we were still digressing that news, Salman Khan has now confirmed that the movie will release on Eid 2020.

The superstar will release his movie on Eid but isn't going solo. Akshay Kumar along with his team of Sooryavanshi had announced that their film would also mark Eid 2020 release. At that time, news reports stated that Akshay took permission from Salman to book an Eid release.

Salman Khan confirmed the news to Bollywood Hungama. He said, "We will come on Eid, next year." On working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, he said, "Sanjay Leela Bhansali has got his aesthetics right, great visual sense, script sense and great command over scene which have drama, emotion, romance and comedy." Revealing about the time he would start shooting, Salman said, "I'll start Dabangg first since Sanjay will release his film later. Dabangg will release in December and we (Sanjay, Alia Bhatt and Salman) will come on Eid, next year."

It will be the first time when Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan would face a Box Office clash. Previously the two superstars worked together in the film Jaan-e-Mann which faced clash from Shah Rukh Khan's Don. Interestingly Salman and Akshay were set to collaborate once again for Kesari. Salman was supposed to produce the film along with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, but he backed down due to unknown reasons. For the uninitiated, Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi is also produced by Karan Johar. Even more so, Shah Rukh Khan's name has been often linked to Inshallah. The actor has previously worked with Salman Khan in Karan Arjun, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Hum Tumhaare Hain Sanam. He also worked with Alia Bhatt in Dear Zindagi.
