Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan officially entered Bollywood with 'Kedarnath' this December and is already gearing up for her next release.

In a recent interview, Saif talked about his little daughter's big debut and how she has made the entire family proud. When asked if he was surprised by Sara's strong on-screen presence, he said, "Yes and no". "The thought behind her shot is clear. It’s amazing. Way better than what I was," he told Pinvilla.

The 'Sacred Games' actor feels Sara has a bright future in the films. "I’m so happy for her. This was her choice all the way. She chose this and made it happen. And I thought she was brilliant. A thinking actress who is expressive and inventive in every shot. I see a fantastic future for her," the actor elaborated.

Earlier in an interview with Indo-Asian News Service, when asked about Sara, grand mother Sharmila Tagore had said, "I am so excited about her debut (in the film Kedarnath). I am very impressed by her... though I don’t see why her self confidence should surprise me. But whether it was Koffee With Karan, Rajeev Masand, BBC - her confidence, humility and charm made me so happy."

"It’s so heartwarming to see her the way she has turned out. When asked what she’s doing in films after going to Columbia University she said the education was for her growth as a person and not for career. She’s never tongue-tied. And how well she stood up for her father on Karan Johar’s show. I am really proud of her."

Although 'Kedarnath' didn't open to great reviews, the critics seemed quite impressed with the debutante. "It is hard to believe that this is her (Sara) first film because she is so spectacular. Her looks and her dialogue delivery have you rooting for her. And when she is not on screen, it seems like the sun is hiding behind the clouds," DNA After Hrs' reviewer Meena Iyer wrote.
