'Sadak 2': Alia Bhatt records a scratch version of a romantic song for Mahesh Bhatt's film

Alia Bhatt is all set to work with her family members in Sadak 2 and she is pretty much excited about it. The actor is all set to be directed by her father Mahesh Bhatt for the first time and this is also her first outing with her sister Pooja Bhatt. The shoot for Sadak 2 kickstarted earlier this year in Mumbai and reports have it the second schedule will be taking place in Ooty. Apart from Alia and Pooja, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead roles.

Now as per reports, Alia has recorded a romantic song in Mumbai earlier this week. She had lent her voice for the scratch version of the track and talking about it, a source said, "While Jeet Gannguly's score is ready, the lyrics are still being worked upon. Jeet da wanted to understand Alia's pitch and voice modulation, so they decided to record the scratch. The lyrics will now be rewritten under the supervision of Mahesh Bhatt."

The source added, "It is a romantic number and comes at a crucial point in the film, so Bhatt sir is being meticulous about it. The final track will be recorded only after the unit returns from their Ooty schedule in August."

Earlier while talking about working with Mahesh Bhatt for the first time in Sadak 2, Alia told PTI, "It will never be easy as I don't know him as a director, I know him as a dad. Working with him as a director will be a different ball game altogether. I am excited. It is an exciting film."
