Saaho has been an awaited film since Prabhas, who is popularly known as Baahubali from the movie of the same name, is the lead of the movie. He also makes his Hindi movie debut with the film. However more than Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor steals the show in the trailer which has been unveiled.

Prabhas has been shown as an undercover cop, who is more 'dabangg' in nature. The surprise here however is Shraddha Kapoor, who is the female cop in the film. She and Prabhas work hand-in-hand (or so can be assumed in the first half of the trailer), but their chemistry changes by the time the trailer comes to an end.

Vennela Kishore, Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mahesh Manjrekar, Murali Sharma and Chunky Pandey, who were introduced in the Saaho teaser, come in glimpses yet again, but are not as impressive as the teaser did justice to their characters. Prabhas put in immense efforts for Baahubali, but he seems to have tried only 10% of that in Saaho. The actor has some moments which he could have owned, but he barely manages to impress. The character, which was narrated as larger-than-life, barely manages to impress as much as Shraddha Kapoor.

Shraddha's character portrays extreme shades in the trailer. She, in one frame, is seen as the actress who is deeply in love with Prabhas, ready to kill and die too, but by the end of the trailer, the actress is sure to leave you impressed with the kind of graph her character sees in the 2 minute 47 second trailer.

Written and directed by Sujeeth, the background score in trailer, given by Sync Cinema in collaboration with Ghibran, also plays an important role in keeping the feel of the visuals alive. Produced by Vamsi - Pramod, the cinematography has been taken care of by Madhie while Sabu Cyril was responsible for production design. Sreekar Prasad edited the film while RC Kamalakannan was responsible for the visual effects of the film (mainly used during romantic scenes between Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor). Gopi Krishna and Ajay Supahiya took care of visual development. Abbas Dalal – Hussain Dalal were responsible for their 'sixer' dialogues and action was taken care by Kenny Bates, Peng Zhang, Dhilip Subbarayan, Stunt Silva, Stefan, Bob Brown, Ram - Lakshman. Although not many dance sequences made it to the trailer cut, Vaibhavi Merchant and Raju Sundaram could be credited for the same, while Thota Vijay Bhaskar, Leepakshi Ellawadi could be applauded for the costume design.

The movie, which was previously slated to release on August 15, Independence Day, has been postponed to August 30, 2019 release. The reason for the delay was quoted to be pending work on VFX.
