Riteish Deshmukh roped in for Tiger Shroff-Shraddha Kapoor's 'Baaghi 3': Reports

After reuniting with Varun Dhawan in the dance film Street Dancer, Shraddha Kapoor will also go back to shooting with her 'Baaghi' Tiger Shroff for Baaghi 3. The movie however might reunite her with another co-star too. Riteish Deshmukh has reportedly joined the starcast.

Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh were last seen in Mohit Suri's Ek Villain which release five years back. Confirming the news of Riteish Deshmukh being part of the franchise, a source told Bollywood Hungama, “While Tiger and Shraddha know the drill for Baaghi 3, Riteish is new to the franchise. The makers were really keen on having him in an action film. While we all know about the comic timing of Riteish, rarely have we seen him in a full-fledged action-revenge drama. His association with this kind of genre will be unique and one will see him in a very different avatar.”

Although the source refused to divulge more details about his role. news reports believe that the actor could play villain in the film. Riteish proved his callibre as a negative character with Ek Villain, and ever since, people have been waiting to see him play a similar role.

The franchise Baaghi, which commenced in 2016, has been an out-and-out action film, where a hero fights the villain in order to save/avenge his love. Sudheer Babu played the antagonist to Tiger Shroff in Baaghi, which was followed by Randeep Hooda turning bad in Baaghi 2. Apart from Randeep, Manoj Bajpayee and Prateik Babbar too played dark roles.
