After over 10 months in New York undergoing medical treatment, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor has returned back to Mumbai in good health
Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor has been in New York for almost a year. After undergoing a medical treatment, he has recently returned back to Mumbai in good health. He earlier expressed missing work and wanting to start working soon. The actor seems to have dived back into action already, since he did a photoshoot with renowned photographer Avinash Gowariker.
Avinash Gowariker took to his Instagram and shared a post-pack-up shot with his followers. The monochrome picture sees Rishi Kapoor in salt-and-pepper look giving his biggest smile, full of energy. The caption read, "#PostPackUpShot with the legend RishiKapoor, who is back in action after a small break... can't explain how fantastic it felt to see Chintuji through the lens radiating his vintage energy in full flow."
Rishi Kapoor later posted this picture on his Twitter and wrote, "Thank you Avinash, you are most flattering. Shaved off the nearly two-month-old beard after "Pack Up" Leave for Italy tonight so see you when back."
While undergoing treatment for cancer in New York, Rishi Kapoor was accompanied by wife Neetu Kapoor. The two were often visited by several fraternity members showing support. Son Ranbir Kapoor and his girlfriend Alia Bhatt also often flew to New York amid shoots of Brahmastra. Some other actors who visited Rishi and Neetu Kapoor included Deepika Padukone, Aamir Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Anupam Kher, Malaika Arora Khan, Arjun Kapoor, the Bachchans and more.
Rishi Kapoor's last release was Jhooti Kahin Ka that came out on July 19. The film also starred Jimmy Shergill, Omkar Kapoor, Lillete Dubey, and Manoj Joshi in pivotal roles.
