Revealed: Ajay Devgn’s next with Boney Kapoor is not a biopic!

After Hrs was the first to tell you that Ajay Devgn and Boney Kapoor are teaming up for a film together. The official announcements are in place and the makers finally revealed that the two-time National Award winner will be seen as India’s legendary football coach Syed Abdul Rahim in the project that has been in the news. While many are referring to the film as a biopic, it ’s actually far from being one. Our informer associated with the team, says, “It will not chronicle Rahim’s entire life. Instead, it will focus on the particular time frame that is considered the golden period of Indian football. The story begins in 1951 and ends in 1962. Ajay’s character is the protagonist, but it’s a period sports drama and certainly not a biopic.”
