Remembering Shashi Kapoor | Randhir Kapoor says the family will continue the tradition of Christmas brunch

"Families that eats together stays together" well that seems to be the mantra of Kapoor khandaan in Bollywood. All the generations of Kapoor clan have been coming together for Shashi Kapoor's annual tradition of Christmas brunch for years now.  The veteran actor continued the tradition started by his beloved wife Jennifer Kendal and now his family is going to carry his legacy forward even after he left for his heavanly abode early this month. 

Randhir Kapoor said from now on Shashi Kapoor's sons Kunal and Karan will take their father's legacy forward and host the family lunch. The actor told Mid-Day,  "My uncle was a family man and always believed in celebrations. In fact, he had told us that we should not mourn his death and instead, celebrate his life. I think his kids are just doing that and are paying an ode to him. Like my father, Raj Kapoor said, 'The show must go on."

Randhir Kapoor even said like every year the entire family is going to be there with lots of food and drinks around. He said, " This time around it will be special as we will remember Shashiji and share our fond memories of him."

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan who were in Pataudi to celebrate their son Taimur's first birthday also ensured to be back to Mumbai well in time.
