Just when we thought that Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer Simmba is done with breaking records left, right and centre, guess what, the song Aankh Marey from the film has become the track to gather the fastest 300 million views on YouTube so far. 

The rehashed version of the popular song Aankh Marey in the Rohit Shetty directorial has managed to cross 300 million views on YouTube in a matter of just 41 days. The song has been topping the playlists of the listeners, even before the film hit the theatres. Ever since Aankh Marey was released online, it has been a favourite of the denizens and now that the track has achieved this feat, it's a testimony of how well it has been received by the audience. 

The revamped version not only has Ranveer and Sara dancing to its tunes with full vigour, but als boasts of cameos by Karan Johar, Kunal Kemmu, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Arshad Warsi too. Interestingly, the original song is from Arshad Warsi's film Tere Mere Sapne. 

Singer Neha Kakkar too had shared a video of herself dancing on the song, alongwith dancer/choreographer Melvin Louis. The video had gone viral on social media.

While the original number was composed by Viju Shah and crooned by Kumar Sanu and Kavita Krishnamurthy, the rehahsed version has been sung by Neha Kakkar and Mika Singh and its music has been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi who's now known as the king of rehashes. The additional lyrics in the song are by Shabbir Ahmed. The original song has about 16 million views on YouTube till now whereas, the revamped version has already crossed 301 million views on the video sharing platform.
