Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and produced by Maneesh Sharma, Hichki has hit the screens this Friday. The film revolves around the character of Naina Mathur, played by Rani, who's suffering from a neurological disorder called the Tourette's Syndrome. This causes her to make involuntary sounds and movements, which is considered to be a speech defect. Naina wishes to become a teacher despite her hurdle of Tourette. How she achieves her dream and overcomes the challenges post that is what the film is all about.

Made at a modest budget of Rs 20 crore, the film has opened to a positive response. Fans are delighted to watch Rani back on screen after four years.
