As a stark reminder of poor state of our national tiger reserves, Hooda tweeted a photo of a tiger with a plastic bottle of a popular beverage in his mouth.
Tagging Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Hooda tweeted, “This #Tiger cleaning his home? No!! It’s us dirtying it. Heartbreaking image taken at #RanthamboreNationalPark #SwachhBharat.”
He not only questioned the state government over the poor upkeep of the tiger reserve, he also asked cola giant Coca Cola's accountability in the case.
The animal lover who is also a renowned equestrian has used his Twitter handle to talk about various social causes part from his films.
On work front, Hooda will be seen in Baaghi 2 along with Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff.
This is Hooda's second outing with Sajid Nadiadwala. Last time the two came together was in 2014, when Hooda played a cop in Salman Khan starrer Kick .
“Sajid Bhai has always been a guiding light and a friend who genuinely cares for me and my art. Our previous two collaborations (Highway and Kick) have been landmarks in my career both commercially and critically. He always comes up with real gems and this one is special,” Hooda had said.
A source close to the development reveals that this role will surprise the audience since Randeep is known for his powerful performances in critically acclaimed films like Highway. “He is expected to get his earlobes pierced and will sport dreadlocks with a funky wardrobe. His character is called LSD,” adds the source.
Baaghi 2 kicked off its first schedule in Pune on September 18 and after wrapping up the shoot in the city, the film's team moved on to Mumbai and continued shooting. Actors like Manoj Bajpayee and Prateik Babbar play a significant role in this sequel to 2015’s hit film.
