Ranbir Kapoor transforms totally into Sanjay Dutt for 'Sanju'

He grew up admiring Sanjay Dutt, who was his neighbour at Pali Hill. From borrowing his bike for rides at the Ajanta bungalow — Sanju’s residence — to working out in his gymnasium, Ranbir Kapoor spent a good many years observing the ’80s superstar, who was also constantly under scrutiny because he was the original badass of Bollywood.

Ranbir has obviously watched Sanju (who, at that point, he didn’t know he was destined to play on screen) so closely, that he has imbibed every single mannerism. The results are here for everyone to see. 

While filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani admits to being blown away when he saw the rushes of his film, Sanju, others, who are being treated to one image a day, are also impressed with the actor who has actually managed to get under the skin of his character. Looking at the similarities between the two, one can only say that the transformation is total and complete.
