Ranbir Kapoor on 'Brahmastra' co-star Amitabh Bachchan's recent compliment: Always feel that he is being extra sweet

Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor are all set to share screen space for the very first time in Ayan Mukerji's fantasy drama titled Brahmastra. Both the actors shot for the team extensively not only in Mumbai but also in Sofia, Bulgaria. They also shot with Alia Bhatt, who plays the female lead in the film. In the announcement logo video released by the makers of Brahmastra, we could hear an intense conversation taking place between Big B and Ranbir.

A couple of months back, Senior Bachchan took to his Twitter page and shared a photo with RK and wrote, "Thank you Ranbir Kapoor, for giving me the elixir of LIFE ! Still buzzing Buddy !! Ranbir Kapoor .. संसार का जीवन रूपी अमृत भेंट , जो आज आपने ने मुझे दिया, इसके लिए हृदय से आभार । अभी तक शरीर उत्तेजित, उत्कृष्ट और उजागर बना हुआ है !!"

During the promotions of Badla, when Big B was quizzed about his Brahmastra co-star Ranbir, he stated, "His face is God's blessing. He doesn't seem to make any effort to convey emotions whereas I've to constantly struggle to express myself and ask the director to help me".

On the red carpet of Zee Cine Awards 2019, when RK was asked about this compliment by the Megastar of Bollywood, he said, "I think I can't get a bigger compliment than that. Of course, you feel great. Bachchan Saab is like family to me so, I always feel that he is being extra sweet because he treats (me) like family."

Brahmastra is co-produced by Karan Johar and is slated to release in the month of December this year.
