The FIRST song from Anurag Basu's 'Jagga Jasoos' is out...
If there's one question that has kept the fans intrigued about Jagga Jasoos (apart from it's release date, of course) it is, what kind of chemistry will be seen between the protagonists and ex flames Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in the film. While the teaser of the movie, introduced us to the world of Jagga, it's the first song of the film that offers a clear glimpse into their on-screen equation in Jagga Jasoos.
The makers of the film have just released Ullu Ka Pattha song and the first thing about it that strikes you, is the goofy steps of Ranbir and Katrina. The song begins with both of them landing up at various places and breaking into a sequence of robotic and coordinated dance steps. As the visual proceeds, we get to know the reason why they are actually performing on streets in various parts of the city.
They collect money from the onlookers, and Ranbir can also be seen asking some of them about his father by showing them a photograph. In case you missed it, the teaser of the film hinted at the fact that he sets out on an adventurous journey to find out about the ones who killed his father when he was a child.
We also get to witness the fantastic camaraderie between Ranbir and Katrina in the song. While the lyrics speak about the heart being a stupid fellow who always takes the forbidden path and gets confused between friendship and love, we see Ranbir making several attempts to kiss Katrina that go in vain as well.
Sung by Arijit Singh and Nikita Gandhi, Ullu Ka Pattha has been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya and composed by Pritam. The song is an upbeat, peppy number and is a delight to listen as well as watch on screen.
The movie releases on July 14.
