Hrithik Roshan in a cryptic yet clear message on his Instagram page, revealed in a post yesterday that his father Rakesh Roshan had been diagnosed with throat cancer and would be getting treated for the same.
Rakesh’s music director brother Rajesh Roshan, who has been responsible for giving music to Rakesh Roshan’s films, has now gone on to inform Mumbai Mirror, “He is better now and recovering well. We were all very tense about the surgery and the entire family was in the hospital with him. God willing, he will be up in the next three days and should be discharged from the hospital.”

The Prime Minister of India, respected Narendra Modi later took to his Twitter and wished the veteran actor-filmmaker a speedy recovery via the son Hrithik. "Dear Hrithik, praying for the good health of Shri Rakesh Roshan Ji. He is a fighter and I am sure he will face this challenge with utmost courage," PM Modi had tweeted.
Rakesh Roshan’s treatment began and Hrithik replied to Modi ji and also solved our queries writing, "Thank you Sir for your concern and good wishes. I am very happy to inform that according to the doctors his surgery has gone off well."
It does appear that good times might be back. Irrfan Khan, who was previously detected with cancer, is expected to be back soon. Sonali Bendre Behl has always kept the world updated with her good well-being despite fighting the devil. Rishi Kapoor, who might have also been detected with the same, is also expected to be back soon, his brother Randhir Kapoor had confirmed a few days back.
