Salman Khan's rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur has given her voice to one of the songs
The Salman Khan starrer Bollywood flick, Race 3 created a massive hype soon after its trailer was launched. The action-packed trailer of one of the most awaited films of the year was released on Tuesday, May 15, giving us a glimpse of the film. The title track of the third edition to the Race franchise, Saansein Hui Hai Dhuaan Dhuaan, is penned by a Pink City lad, Kunaal Vermaa, who has previously written songs for movies like Half Girlfriend, Humari Adhuri Kahani and more. In a tete-a-tete with AFTERhrs, Kunaal revealed what to expect from the song for which he was not given the credits initially.
A Fast & Furious feel
“The songs are extremely powerful with the best visuals and music. While looking at the rushes, you might relate the videos to Fast & Furious movies with the fast-paced visualisation. The music is amazing. The songs tell you a lot about what to expect from the film when it comes to stunts and action sequences,” shared the Ghar se Nikalte hi lyricist.
Iulia Vantur's rap
Salman Khan's rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur has given her voice to one of the songs. “The song has 4 singers, Gurinder Seagal, Iulia Vantur, Rimi Nique and Payal Dev. Gurinder and I were thinking of something for the track and suddenly there was a dialogue which gave us the idea about the song. I wrote the lyrics and Gurinder gave the music. Suraj Pancholi motivated us to pitch the final song to Salman bhai,” asserted Kunaal, who is now writing lyrics for Bhatt Production. “We decided to add some English rap to it and we asked Iulia to sing it for us. She recorded the rap and we made the Race 3 team listen to it and they decided to take the track,” he added.
Getting the credits
Though this team worked really hard on the track, they were not given credit for it. “We were waiting for their call but nothing happened. So we approached them again and then we got to know that the track was there but we were not being given the credits. Salman bhai got to know about this and his team got the new posters made before the trailer launch, with our credits included,” shared the new-gen lyricist, who writes all his lyrics on his phone.
Home is where the friends are
The lyricist, who has been associated with big banners now, makes sure to visit Jaipur every month to spend time with his friends. “I come every month for a day or two. I specially book a hotel to stay there and call my friends so that I can chill with them because my friends complain that I don't have time for them. Earlier, I used to call them at 3 or 4 in the night to make them listen to all that I have written,” said Kunaal before singing off.
