Salman Khan starrer Race 3 is doing wonders at the box office and breaking all the records. On the opening day itself, the film made a whopping sum of Rs 29 crores and in a span of just three days since the release, the film hit a century at the box office.
According to film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Race 3 finds itself on the top of 2018's list of biggest openers so far. Race 3 has become the third-highest opening of actor Salman Khan, after Ali Abbas Zafar’s Sultan (Rs 36.54 crore) and Kabir Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger (Rs 32.93 crore) and is currently shining at the box office with no signs of a slowdown.
On Monday, June 18, the film which is directed by Remo D’Souza, earned Rs 14.24 crore, thus taking its total collection to Rs 120.71 crore in just four days.
Earlier on June 19, Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the official collection of the film.
He wrote, “#Race3 puts up a STRONG TOTAL on Mon… Decline on Mon [vis-à-vis Fri: 51.18%]… Mass circuits/single screens are holding very well, while plexes have started sliding downwards… Fri 29.17 cr, Sat 38.14 cr, Sun 39.16 cr, Mon 14.24 cr. Total: ₹ 120.71 cr. India biz.”

Critics however, have bashed the film for its lack of rationale and logic.
#Race3 rests on Salman’s brawny shoulders... Eid holidays + brand value attached to the film [#Race] are huge plusses... But the biggest of films need a strong foundation [content] to stand tall... Unfortunately, #Race3 lacks that power!

All that glitters is not gold... Remo D’souza misses the golden opportunity! pic.twitter.com/xTpbO3tyYH
But the opinion of the critics is clearly making no difference to the box office numbers. Helmed by Remo D’Souza and bankrolled by Ramesh Taurani, Race 3 also has stars like Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem, Freddy Daruwala, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles.
