'Qaidi Band' Trailer: Aadar Jain and Anya Singh's impressive debut is the highlight of this interesting story!

After launching the fresh faces of their banner, Yash Raj Films has finally unveiled the trailer of Aadar Jain and Anya Singh's debut film Qaidi Band. The film revolves around a bunch of 7 innocent undertrials who await their acquittal in a jail and how music comes to their rescue when everything else fails.

The trailer begins by giving us a definition of the term 'Undertrial' and goes on to introduce us to Aadar Jain and Anya Singh, who are in a jail, and can go to any extent to earn some extra kharcha paani, despite being in the prison. 

Sachin Pilgaonkar, who plays the jailor, informs them that on the occasion of Independence Day that year, for the first time an orchestra is to be prepared. That's when Aadar and Anya get introduced to each other as they are to be the lead singers of the 7-member qaidi band. The undertrials think of it as an opportunity to impress the higher officials and earn some brownie points that would facilitate in their acquittal.

Interestingly, their song becomes a huge hit and emerges as the new anthem of patriotism across the country. Soon, the game of politicians begins who keep on delaying their hearing and subsequent processes for their own vote banks. 

When all things fail, these 7 undertrials resort to music to set themselves free. Written and directed by Habib Faisal, who had also launched Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor in Ishaqzaade, the film is all set to hit the theatres on August 25.
