Priyanka Chopra's mother Madhu Chopra FINALLY breaks her silence on son Siddharth Chopra's wedding being cancelled

Priyanka Chopra Jonas' brother Siddharth Chopra is in the news from the past few days due to his wedding reports. He was all set to tie the knot last weekend with fiancée Ishita Kumar in Mumbai. They had their roka ceremony earlier this year in Delhi which was attended by Priyanka and her husband Nick Jonas. Going by the recent updates on Ishita's Instagram page, the wedding has been called off and the couple is no longer together.

None of it was confirmed until now! Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra finally broke her silence to Pinkvilla and stated, "They (Siddharth and Ishita) have mutually called it off." However, she refused to divulge further details. Earlier it seemed that the wedding has been postponed due to Ishita's recent surgery. While now, Ishita had shared a photo of herself with a caption stating, "Cheers to new beginnings. With a goodbye kiss to beautiful endings." Soon after that, her parents left a few comments on her post. 

Ishita's mother wrote, "Close the old book and write a new story." While he dad commented, "We are with you; Feel the expanse of the universe and be the star you were born to be".

In 2014, Siddharth's wedding with Kanika Mathur was called off. The estranged couple planned a destination wedding in Goa and never witnessed broad daylight.

Priyanka headed back to the US after staying here for a week and attended another wedding which was of her brother-in-law Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner in Las Vegas.
