When the Bajirao Mastani actress was asked about her rumoured engagement at a recent event in Delhi, she had said that her 'life is not for public consumption' and that she deserves to keep her life private.
But looks like the beautiful actress has finally thought about opening the cards!
Priyanka Chopra to everyone's delight has confirmed (even if mistakenly) that she is engaged and was also seen flaunting her stunning diamond engagement ring from beau Nick Jonas in an Instagram snap.
The actress, 36, made the big reveal as she posed with actress Raveena Tandon who then posted the photograph on her social media.
PC who was hugging Raveena from behind and just posing for the picture, gave everyone the first glimpse of her engagement ring she desperately wanted to hide.
A few days back, on two occasions, Priyanka was seen removing her ring, hinding it and even pocketing it so that media doesn’t get a glimpse of it. But do you think it is at all to hide such things for a long time, especially when you happen to be one of the most talked about celebrities?
Even though Priyanka seemed reluctant about sharing the big news, Nick Jonas, 28, was forthcoming when he was asked about his engagement.
After a ‘Thanks, man” to a fan who congratulated him, he went on to say, as quoted by Bollywoodlife.com, “[Having a family of my own] is the goal. It’s definitely something that I hope will happen. I am not sure of the exact timeline. But, I need to give my nieces cousins at some point.”
According to reports, the American singer had shut down a Tiffany store in London to get the right ring for PC, and that the two later got engaged while in London celebrating Priyanka's 36th birthday on July 18.
On the work front, Priyanka is busy with working on The Sky Is Pink, which is based on the life of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary, who died in 2015 at the age of 18.
The actress is also serving as a co-producer on the project.
