Preetika Rao congratulates sister Amrita Rao and husband RJ Anmol on embracing parenthood

On November 1, 2020, Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol welcomed a baby boy in Mumbai. The couple's rep released a statement confirming the news which read as "Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol welcomed a baby boy this morning. Both the mother and baby are healthy and doing well. The family is ecstatic and both Amrita and RJ Anmol thank everyone for their wishes and blessings." Congratulatory messages have been pouring in for the couple.

One of the cutest messages was posted by Amrita's sister and actor Preetika Rao. She took to her Twitter page and posted a comic video of a baby with a message for the couple. Preetika tweeted, "It's a Boy! Congratulations @AmritaRao @rjanmol #AmritaRao #mom !!!"

Talking about her pregnancy, Amrita had earlier told Mumbai Mirror, "It’s like reliving our childhood. I guess it takes your child to be in front of you to believe what nature can do."

The actor also spoke about her earlier cravings stating, "Even the baby realises it and is not very demanding. There are no special cravings, I eat whatever I want and the baby seems to be happy with it."

About Anmol, the actor had said, "Anmol reads a chapter from the Bhagavad Gita to baby and me every night."

Amrita and RJ Anmol tied the knot in 2016 after a courtship of about seven years. The couple had a secret wedding and speaking about the same, she had told IANS, "It's been seven years of a blissful relationship and I'm the luckiest to find a soulmate in my life partner. We had a very small (wedding) ceremony with our immediate family members only."
