Pic: Karan Johar ditches his signature pout as he poses with BFF Kajol at Akash Ambani-Shloka Mehta's engagement bash

Kajol and Karan Johar are back to being BFFs. The duo attended Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's eldest son Akash Ambani and his wife-to-be Shloka Mehta's engagement bash together on June 30.  

Kajol instagrammed a heart-warming picture of them from the bash where she is seen giving a bear hug to her friend Karan. She captioned it, "Smile beats pout every time !" We love how she managed to make him drop his signature pout for this.

Kajol and Karan's friendship goes back to 25 years. They had a rather public fall out in 2016 but we are glad that they are back together. It is said that it was Kajol who made the first move. She first liked the photos of his twins Yash and Roohi on Instagram and later invited Karan for her private birthday bash in August. Karan happily relented.
