Parineeti Chopra comes to Mahira Khan's defence after Twitter trolls her picture with Ranbir Kapoor

Netizens woke upto Mahira Khan and Ranbir Kapoor's pictures while hanging out together in New York City. That's not all! Ranbir and the Pakistani actress were spotted smoking in the US and that became reason enough for trolls to mercilessly attack the actress for ‘smoking’ and wearing ‘revealing’ dress. But before Ranbir Kapoor's father Rishi Kapoor came out to defend his son, Parineeti Chopra raised her voice against trolls targetting Mahira Khan. At the trailer launch of Ajay Devgn- Parineeti starrer Golmaal Again, Parineeti was asked about her opinion on fans slut shaming Mahira Khan. Without mincing words Parineeti said, “It’s unfair. Today thanks to social media, everything gets blown out of proportion.”

This is not the first time that celebrities have been attacked on social media, Priyanka Chopra got trolled for wearing a dress while meeting PM Modi in Berlin. Deepika Padukone has been body shamed time and again for her international magazine cover shoots. Judwaa 2 actress, Taapsee Pannu also got trolled for sharing her bikini pictures.
