'Other half is irrelevant': Amitabh Bachchan crops himself out while sharing a photo of Jaya Bachchan on 'Karwa Chauth'

It's Karwa Chauth today and the social media pages are flooded with photos and messages about the festival. For the uninitiated, this festival is celebrated especially in North India where women fast from sunrise to moonrise for the long life of their husbands. Nowadays, the festival has been given a modern outlook where the wives dress their traditional best and also host Karva Chauth parties with friends like Bollywood celebrities.

Today, on the occasion of Karwa Chauth, Amitabh Bachchan took to his Twitter page and shared a black and white of Jaya Bachchan while he cropped himself out. In the photo, Jaya Ji is seen wearing a saree and keeping her cute smile intact. Big B tweeted the photo stating, "T 3520 - .. the better half .. !! quite obviously the other half is irrelevant  .. and therefore unseen"
