On Independence Day, Kartik Aaryan to hoist the flag at his school in Gwalior

Kartik Aaryan recently got a hero’s welcome in his hometown Gwalior, where he has already begun filming for his next, Lukka Chhupi, with Kriti Sanon. While the actor is excited to shoot in the city where he was born and brought up, those who have known him are equally thrilled that his new project is being shot there. Interestingly, one thing that the young star is overwhelmed about is being invited for the Independence Day flag hoisting ceremony at his alma mater St Paul’s High School, where the Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor studied till the 10th standard.

We hear his teachers are looking forward to meet their ex-student and a group of kids has prepared a special performance on his songs. On his part, Kartik said, "I'm really excited to go back to my school. I'm feeling honoured to do the flag hosting in my school. It's one of the proud moments for me. I'm looking forward to meet my teachers. It's going to be quite nostalgic."
