Omung Kumar’s Malang shelved?

There was a lot of buzz about Omung Kumar’s Malang, which the filmmaker had announced last year amidst much fanfare. But a fall out with Sanjay Dutt immediately after the debacle of the actor’s comeback venture Bhoomi, put all of the filmmaker’s plans in cold storage.

Sanjay immediately walked out of both the projects with Omung (the actor was also supposed to play the lead in The Good Maharaja).

Incidentally, Malang would have been Ankita Lokhande’s second Bollywood film (after Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi) and first as the leading heroine. However, soon after Sanjay’s exit, the actress too opted out of the project. Now, we hear that Omung has decided to shelve the film permanently. Uh, oh!
