OMG! Ranveer Singh-Sara Ali Khan's 'Simmbaa' to clash with Salman Khan's 'Dabangg 3' on December 28th

Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty's first collaboration is making a lot of noise ever since the makers announced that Sara Ali Khan has been cast opposite Ranveer Singh in Simmba. 

Putting an end to all the speculations about the leading lady in the film, KJo also revealed that this mass entertainer will hit theatres on December 28th, 2018. Dharma Productions head took to Twitter and wrote, “Sara Ali Khan in #Simmba with @RanveerOfficial directed by ROHIT SHETTY! Releasing on the 28th of December 2018 ! This winter gets hotter!” But this could lead to the biggest box-office battle in 2018 as Salman Khan's Dabangg 3 is also releasing on the same date.

Let us remind you that Salman Khan is eyeing two releases this year. The actor who is currently shooting for Race 3 will have this film as his first release on Eid 2018. After that, the superstar will kickstart the shoot of Dabangg 3 with his brother Arbaaz Khan. Bollywood Life reports suggests that the script already in place and the pre-production going on in full swing, so that Bhaijaan can start shooting as soon as Remo D'Souza film wraps up. The makers want to finish filming 'Dabangg 3' by October end and release it by the end of 2018. However with December 21st already marked for Shah Rukh Khan's 'Zero', the Dabangg team was eyeing December 28th. 

Now that Karan Johar's Simmba's release already been announced, wonder if Salman Khan's film release will get pushed ahead.
