'Notebook' song 'Nai Lagda': Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal fall madly in love with each other in this romantic video

Salman Khan recently launched the trailer for his upcoming production Notebook. The film marks the Bollywood debut of Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal. In the trailer, we got a glimpse that the love story between the leads starts in the most unexpected way. Zaheer (Kabir) is shown falling for Pranutan (Firdaus) after reading what she scribbles on her notebook. The trailer also left the viewers in a confusing state whether Pranutan and Zaheer's characters will ever meet each other in the film or not.

Now, the makers have dropped the first song from the film titled Nai Lagda. The track is a love ballad and the visuals are more or less similar to that shown in the trailer. In the music video, Kabir is seen falling truly, madly and deeply in love with Firdaus, who on the other hand, is getting decked up to get married. The song also shows Firdaus blushing while thinking about Kabir as she knows he is in love with her.

Nai Lagda is crooned and composed by Vishal Mishra while the lyrics are penned by Akshay Tripathi. Salman tweeted the song video saying, "Presenting the first song from #Notebook, #NaiLagda. Listen and feel the love."

Talking about the lead actor, Pranutan is the granddaughter of legendary actor Nutan and daughter of Mohnish Bahl.

Notebook is directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Salma Khan, Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde. The out-and-out romantic film is slated to release on March 29, 2019.
