Not only 'Angrezi Medium', Kareena Kapoor Khan's trip to London also pays her to feature on global magazine cover

Last week, Kareena Kapoor Khan gave a miss to the schedule of Dance India Dance, which she is judging, as she was busy with the shoot of Angrezi Medium in London till August this year. This week, however, she will be in India to shoot for her debut television show. While in the UK capital, besides filming for her movie, the Veere Di Wedding actress also shot for the cover of one of the biggest global Indian magazines, Asiana International. 

A source says that owing to her popularity, the glossy was keen to have her on the cover and also willing to pay her for it. “Usually, actors grace magazine covers as part of the promotion and publicity of their films. It’s a rare case when they get paid for it. Since Kareena has an immense influence on fashion and a global presence, they wanted her on the cover and paid her approximately Rs 40-50 lakhs for it.”

Incidentally, the actress, who went to London on a holiday with husband Saif Ali Khan and son Taimur, also shot for her next, in which she plays a cop. A video of her strutting her stuff wearing the London Police jacket, leather pants and knee-high boots went viral.
