Long after the announcement for Bhuj: The Pride of India was made, the 'reel-life air force officers' seem to walk out of the project one after another. Recent reports stated that Nora Fatehi replaced Parineeti Chopra in the project, but it does not end there. The latest news reports suggest that Rana Daggubati too has walked out of the film.

According to the latest report on Mid-Day, Rana Daggubati has walked out of Bhuj: The Pride of India owing to health conditions. Rana was reportedly expected to perform heavy-duty action sequences. The makers tried to work around the same by finding a body double, but since things did not go as planned, the two parted ways amicably.

A source, however, quoted that the real problem was getting Rana's time for the shooting. "Rana's schedule was supposed to start around October. However, the entire shooting schedule was delayed, and now, his stint is slated for next month. Since the actor is currently busy with Hiranyakashyap, he decided to opt out of the project. The makers have started looking for a replacement," informed the source.

Rana was finalized for the role of a lieutenant colonel of Madras regiment in the film. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Bhuj: The Pride of India stars Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and now Nora Fatehi in the lead roles. Ajay's look from the movie was also unveiled recently. According to their last announcement, the movie is slated for August 14, 2020 release.
