Himesh Reshammiya recently introduced railway station singing sensation Ranu Mondal to movies and he shared a video of the same
Remember the lady from Ranaghat station in West Bengal who sang the Lata Mangeshkar song 'Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai'? That lady, named Ranu Mondal, who made her living singing for daily commuters, is going viral on the internet for the second time.
This time Ranu got an opportunity to sing for Himesh Reshammiya. Sharing the video, Himesh wrote, "Recorded teri meri kahani my new song from happy hardy and heer with the very talented Ranu Mondal who has a divine voice , all your our dreams can come true if we have the courage to peruse them, a positive attitude can really make dreams come true, thanks for all your love and support."
Although the support through words appeared to be good, netizens, on taking closer look at the video, noticed that she is barely able to show her talent. The camera, too, is constantly focused between Himesh and her, while she only hums music. The worse comes towards the end, when Ranu is still singing on the microphone, only this time in Himesh Reshammiya's voice.
Taking this flaw, the Twitterati have created their own versions of the video. These videos have replaced the microphone, and if that mockery wasn't enough, they also went on to give captions which were meant to take a dig at Himesh and the video which he recorded.

During an interaction with IANS, Himesh was had shared the news of the video saying, "Today, I met Ranuji and I feel that she is blessed with divinity. Her singing was mesmerizing and I could not stop myself from offering her the best I could. She has a god's gift which needs to be shared with the world and by singing in my upcoming movie, ‘Happy Hardy and Heer', I think I will help her voice reach everyone."
