Shweta recently launched a new fashion label - MxS in collaboration with Indian designer Monisha Jaising. The luxury fashion pret brand is apparently inspired by Navya's personal style and hence she also joined her mother in the promtoinal photo-shoot.
Karan shared the picture with a caption,"When a supremely talented designer and a fashion forward force collaborate the result is magical and beyond chic! Monisha Jaising and Shweta Bachchan bring the new label in town MxS f/w 2018. ! PS.. don’t miss the teenage fashionista in the frame! Navya Nanda!"
The picture, as expected, didn't go down well with Karan's Instafam. "I'm sure you will launch this girl in your next project... but you can't see talent in other struggling actors... your best launching machine - nepotism," wrote an angry follower.
Comments like "Nepotism at its extreme case! Please post some talented people's pictures. You need to stop this instantly" and "Nepotism zindabad... he is the Santa Claus of rich people." followed.
"I have been in the fashion business for 12 years! Worked 16 hours a day and learning the business from ground up. Worked with brands like Superdry, diesel and Express denim I am a technical expert in denims and outerwear! Today I'm sitting unemployed for 8 months because my surname is not famous! People with no skills, no experience and not paid their dues are given opportunities of a life time while people like me grind away to nothingness! Brilliant!," ranted a struggling designer.
Meanwhile, not very far away, a proud father and grand father Amitabh Bachchan happily tweeted out more pictures from their photo-shoot. And interestingly, he didn't receive even half the flak that Karan did. Infact his well-wishers wished Shweta good-luck!

However, in a recent interview with a popular magazine, the young lady revealed that she has no plans of stepping into showbiz and that she is enjoying her time interning at an advertising agency in Manhattan.
