Nawazuddin Siddiqui's 'Monsoon Shootout' to clash with Salman Khan’s 'Tiger Zinda Hai'

So far, December 22 this year, was reserved by Salman Khan for his big-ticket film Tiger Zinda Hai. No other film was releasing on the date. However, now we hear that Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s film, titled Monsoon Shootout, which is releasing four years after its premiere at Cannes has zeroed in on the same date as Salman’s film!

Says a source, “No other date is available before that. Besides, after December 22, there are no releases for two weeks and the makers want to cash in on that. Also, the audience for the Salman-starrer and Monsoon Shootout is completely different, so there won’t be any clash as such.”

Interestingly, Nawaz, who has worked with Salman in Kick and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, was offered a prominent role in Tiger Zinda Hai, too. However, he is said to have turned it down as he had committed the dates to the Manto biopic. And now he is clashing with the same film that he would have been a part of!
