On Tuesday itself, Mumbai Police had warned everyone about heavy rains and to avoid any mishaps the schools and colleges in the city are also shut for a day..Like every year, several low-lying localities are flooded with water and there are traffic jams across the city. Many celebrities too shared their experience of Mumbai rains on Twitter. While Twinkle Khanna and Shirish Kunder's sense of humour kept them going in thunderstorms, Saiyami Kher's luck saved her from traffic on the roads, but her flight got suspended.
Reached the airport. Western Express Highway was totally clear. But all flights have been suspended. #MumbaiRains #MumbaiAirport
