Mukul Dev replaces Mithun Chakraborty in Vinod Kapri's Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle

When director Vinod Kapri was casting for his next, Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle, Mithun Chakraborty was his first choice for the role of Don Arru. 

Vinod felt the three-time National Award-winning actor had the right persona and could essay the character with ease and conviction. However, due to date issues, he had to opt for another actor and signed Mukul Dev instead.

Confirming the development, Vinod says, “I felt no one could play the don’s character better than Mithunda, and I was looking forward to working with him as even he was excited about it. But we couldn’t shoot with him because of some date issues. When we had to look for a replacement, I felt Mukul is the perfect person to fill Mithunda’s shoes for the character. And having shot with him, I feel he has done a tremendous job.”
