Looks like the presence of journalists at the launch of a book on his late father, Raj Kapoor, didn't go down well with Rishi Kapoor. In spite of an invitation from the publisher, the actor objected to the presence of three journalists at the book launch event.

An IANS report suggests how the event turned out to be a difficult evening. Turns out that Rishi Kapoor asked three journalists who were waiting outside the washroom adjacent to the book release venue saying, "Aal log kaun hain?" in an agitated voice. On being told about their credentials, Rishi Kapoor walked off saying, "Muft ki daaru...."

Soon after, the actor's personal security asked the three media persons to the hall and to the lobby of the hotel, saying, "Mr Kapoor doesn't want you guys here, please leave," added the report.

Reportedly, the publisher's representative requested to speak to the personal security staff of Rishi Kapoor. The hotel in-charge instead said, "You know how Rishi Kapoor is. He has created a scene at our hotel twice in the past."

Post that, the publicist from Harper Collins apologised to the journos and added that there are a lot of stakeholders in such celebrity events. Sometime after the event begain, he went to the journalists and told them, "Please come in, grab a drink or two" while the agency reporter chose to leave.
