Mithun Chakraborty hospitalized, flies down to LA for treatment

Mithun Chakraborty has been missing in action since a very long time and we might have just come to know why! The actor, who was last seen hosting a dance show, is now nowhere to be seen and the reason for that is that the Disco Dancer is hospitalized in LA for treatment.

A reliable source informed BollywoodLife, "Since the past few months his back issue aggravated and he was not keeping well due to this. The family then decided to take him to LA for treatment. He was even hospitalized for a few days."

His son Mahaakshay Chakraborty, more popularly known as Mimoh, and daughter-in-law Madalsa Sharma, are with him in LA. A close family member informed the portal that the actor is now doing well after the treatment.

For the uninitiated, Mithun had suffered a back injury back in 2009, when he had to shoot an action sequence for the movie ‘Luck’ starring Imran Khan, Shruti Haasan and Sanjay Dutt in the lead. The actor was expected to jump from a flying helicopter but the stunt went wrong and Mithun’s back endured the most ever since.

Back in 2016 too, Mithun had got himself treated in LA for the same kind of pain, and he had resigned from the Rajya Sabha quoting the same reason. But Dada soon became a popular face on TV, hosting a dance reality show saying ‘kya baat kya baat kya baat’. Even in 2018, he was hosting the reality show before he went MIA.
