BSP leader Mayawati has shared a tweet probing Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. She has stated that now with the involvement of both Mumbai as well as Bihar Police, the case is likely to get murkier.

One of her tweets read, "The case of a young boy from Bihar, Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's demise is getting complicated every day due to new facts being exposed, and his father filing FIR in Patna Police. Now it is better if CBI investigates the matter rather than Maharashtra Police and Bihar Police."

The other tweet read, "Also, because of the different attitude of Congress leaders of Maharashtra and Bihar in Sushant Singh Rajput's case, it seems that their real purpose is to fulfill their political interests first under the guise of this act and to provide justice to the victim family later, which is not at all appropriate. Maharashtra government should get serious."

Mayawati is the latest to urge for CBI probe in the matter. BJP MP Subramanian Swamy has already written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking for CBI probe, stating that there might be big names in Bollywood, who with the help of dons in Dubai, are asking Mumbai Police to cover up the death and call it voluntary suicide. Roopa Ganguly, Shekhar Suman and Kangana Ranaut are also some other people who have been constantly urging CBI probe in the matter.
