Manmarziyaan first look: Turban-clad Abhishek Bachchan makes dad Amitabh Bachchan proud

Abhishek Bachchan is all set to make a comeback on the silver screen with Anurag Kashyap next, Manmarziyaan. The first look of the film with Abhishek sporting a turban is out and in the photo unveiled, Abhishek is seen giving an intense look as he stares out of the window in a pensive mood.

While Abhishek’s turban-clad look with a beard has managed to create a stir on social media with fans awaiting the film’s release eagerly, his father Amitabh Bachchan also went on to share a small anecdote. Saying that he is proud of him, Big B took to Twitter and wrote, "T 2750 - #Manmarziyaan .. #AbhishekBachchan .. your Daadi, Teji Kaur Suri pre marriage .. your par Nana Khazan Singh Suri .. your par Naani Amar Kaur Sodhi .. & all related must feel great pride and love for you .. as do I .. Manmarziyaan also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal and is produced by Aanand L Rai. 
The film has been in the making for quite sometime now and was first announced with Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar in the leads. 

Meanwhile, talking about the film, Taapsee in earlier interview had said that Manmarziyaan “is a beautiful mix of the different worlds of filmmakers Aanand L Rai and Anurag Kashyap.” Meanwhile, Anurag has started filming Manmarziyan as he's done with his Netflix original series Sacred Games with Saif Ali Khan. 

Manmarziyan is all set to hit the theatres on September 7, 2018.
