'Manmarziyaan' is the comeback film of Abhishek after a two-year gap and is slated to release on September 7, 2018.
Abhishek Bachchan is all set to be back on the silver screen after about two years, with Anurag Kashyap's next titled Manmarziyan. The film also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal and is produced by Aanand L Rai.
Manmarziyan has been in the making for quite sometime now. The film was first announced with Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar in the leads. However, that didn't seem to have worked out. Later, some reports suggested that Dulquer Salman will be making his Bollywood debut with the film. That also did not happen.
Now as the film has finally begun rolling, the makers on Wednesday shared the first look pictures of the actors to intrigue the audience further. The photos were shared by the official handle of Eros Now with the caption, “Love against all odds! #Manmarziyaan releasing on 7th September. @aanandlrai @juniorbachchan @taapsee @vickykaushal09 @FuhSePhantom @cypplOfficial @anuragkashyap72.”
Vicky also shared the photos on Twitter writing, “Everything is fair when love is war! #Manmarziyaan releasing on 7th September. @juniorbachchan @taapsee @anuragkashyap72 @ErosNow @aanandlrai @cypplOfficial.”
In the photos, Abhishek sports a turban and is intensely looking out of the window. Vicky and Taapsee, on the other hand, seem to be a happy couple. While Vicky looks unrecognizable for a moment with a new hairstyle and beard as he wears a Jim Morrison t-shirt, Taapsee is seen donning a red mane. Well, going by the photos, is a love triangle on the cards?
Taapsee in earlier interview had said the film “is a beautiful mix of the different worlds of filmmakers Aanand L Rai and Anurag Kashyap.” Meanwhile, Anurag has started filming Manmarziyan as he's done with his Netflix original series Sacred Games with Saif Ali Khan.
Manmarziyan is all set to hit the theatres on September 7, 2018.
