The trailer of Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi has finally been dropped by the makers of the film on Tuesday.

The 3.5 minute long trailer sees the transformation of Kangana Ranaut from a young, lively, strong and spirited girl- Manikarnika into a responsible, patriotic, fierce queen and freedom fighter- Rani Laxmi Bai.

The trailer of the film which has been wrapped with blood and battle, promises to awaken the patriot in you.

In the video Kangana Ranaut’s character Manikarnika declares, “We both want Jhansi, the difference is you want to rule and I want to serve.”

Also, Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi is said to be one of Kangana's ambitious projects, and the from what we see in the trailer, the actress' involvement is quite visible.

Looks like Kangana has invested quite a lot in the film. 

While stills and posters have already created a lot of buzz, here's the trailer of the film which is dramatic and an enriching cinematic experience.

Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, as the title suggests, narrates the story of Queen of Jhansi, Rani Laxmibai, who took on the might of the British during the revolt of 1857. The film will not only depict the valour and courage of the queen which is legendary, but will also focus on the life of the queen as a young girl, her marriage to the ruler of Jhansi, Gangadhar Rao, her life as a mother and finally her confrontation with the British and eventual death.

Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi which also stars Ankita Lokhande, Atul Kulkarni, Danny Denzongpa, among others, is slated to release on January 25, 2019.
