Mallika Sherawat makes her digital debut with ZEE5 original 'The Story'

Mallika Sherawat, who has set the screen ablaze with her oomph factor with films like Khwaish (2003) and Murder (2004), is all set to make her digital debut and she has chosen ZEE5 for it. The actress features in the web series The Story, which gives a quirky sneak peek into the lives of celebrities through incidents that were either their favourite fantasy or worst nightmare. 

The episode featuring Mallika, which releases on June 26, also has a good dose of drama and action as we get to see her fighting off her stalker. It takes us through an edgy experience as she is harassed by threatening calls from a stalker and on the verge of ambush. Her journey to finding out the true identity of the mystery stalker is said to leave viewers at the edge of the seat all through.

With a different take on bridging the gap between reel and real life, The Story highlights select incidents from the lives of each of the actors. And it is anybody’s guess whether the incidents are real or a figment of their imagination. In the web series’ first episode, Swara Bhasker revisits an incident with her ex flame, which she describes as a crazy break-up night where the couple was troubled by a jealous ex-girlfriend, had cops running after them and a curious taxi driver. Sumeet Vyas talks about his obsession with OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) in the second episode that promises a lot of fun watching him react to unclean cars, making him anxious for a date and picking up fights.
