The 1991 superhit film Sadak is all set have a sequel and we can't be any less excited! 

Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2 has been in the news for a while now, and after the news of the film's sequel has been confirmed, a lot of questions have cropped up regarding who will be a part of it, what will be the sequel like, whether it’s going to be as good as the prequel, etc.

The anticipation is especially high for fans of the original Sadak, which starred Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt

While multiplying the curiosity of the audience, fans and followers, Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt met up to talk about Sadak 2, on the occasion of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore’s 77th death anniversary.

Pooja shared a picture from the meetup on her Instagram where she can be seen hugging dear friend Sanjay tightly, while the two smile for the camera.

In her Instagram post, Pooja has quoted the Nobel Laureate, “Everything comes to us that belongs to us if we create the capacity to receive it.”

Indeed a magical journey had kick-started a few years ago and we can't wait to see the second part of it!  

Sadak is a 90s classic and was said to be inspired by Taxi Driver, and is best remembered for late Sadashiv Amrapurkar’s performance as Maharani

In a statement to indianexpress.com, Pooja said, “Sadak 2 is happening. It’s starting in March 2019 and will release in 2019 but more details of it I should allow my uncle Mukesh Bhatt (to reveal), who is actually the man behind it, who has backed it completely and is making part two a reality. It is his privilege to discuss that and share that.”

The sequel shall deal with the issue of depression and is set in modern times. 

Sadak 2 which is set to release next year on November 15, is being produced by Mukesh Bhatt.
