Like daddy like daughter! Imtiaz Ali's 15 year old daughter Ida Ali debuts as a director

Star kids are as popular as their celebrity parents on social media. Paparazzi and fan clubs keep a tag on Shah Rukh Khan's children Aryan Khan and Suhana, Jhanvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and everyone's waiting for their big Bollywood debut.

But Imtiaz Ali must be a proud dad as his 15 year old daughter Ida Ali has already turned filmmaker. His teenager daughter not only enjoys massive fan following on Instagram but has also written and directed a short film titled Lift. Jab We Met director shared the short film late Tuesday on Facebook. “Title: Lift. Duration: 12 mins. Written & Directed by Ida Ali. Hope you like it,” he wrote.

Just like daddy dear, the daughter also speaks volumes about various shades of human nature in her film. 

The short film produced by Imtiaz Ali's production house Window Seat is a deep take on love and relationships at all ages. The entire film is shot inside a lift where people from all walks of life walk into and give us a sneak peak into different stages of life.
