South star Kiccha Sudeep found it difficult to kick his Dabangg 3 co-star Salman Khan in the chest for one of the action sequences that they were filming. Salman's Chulbul Pandey will be seen pitted against Kiccha Sudeep's Sikander Bhardwaj in the Prabhu Dheva directorial and for an action scene Sudeep was required to kick Salman Khan hard on his chest, but turns out that Sudeep just couldn't do it.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Kiccha Sudeep narrated how he couldn't bring himself to kick Salman owing to his respect for the Dabangg actor. He told the portal, "I found it very difficult at a particular time because there was a shot when I needed to kick him on his chest very hard. I tried, little and then Prabhu sir (director Prabhu Dheva) comes to me and (gesturing action stunts)... he shows, doesn't say anything. Salman is also standing with full force. But I couldn't do it."

He further added,"And then later, Salman tells me, 'Buddy, kick me'. I told Prabhu sir 'I can't kick him'. The respect that you have for some people... I can't sir. Then finally, they did it in a different way. I couldn't do it. I understood why people in the South found it difficult to kick me."

Kiccha Sudeep also shared his experience on the first day of Dabangg 3 shoot. He told the portal, "When I went to the sets, I requested Prabhu sir the first day to not give me so many lines in Hindi. I was used to seeing a Salman Khan film from a distance, now suddenly, working with him, I did not know what these people were expecting off me. Prabhu Dheva was very sweet to cancel the shoot and Arbaaz asked me to take my time. Salman Sir joined after three days, after that, the problem was not with him, it was with me. I was thinking too much."

Dabangg 3 will also see Sonakshi Sinha reprising her role as Rajjo and Arbaaz Khan too returns as Makkhi. Apart from them, Pankaj Tripathi, Nawab Shah and Mahie Gill will also be seen in the film. The Prabhu Dheva directorial will also mark the Bollywood debut of Mahesh Manjrekar's daughter Saiee. Dabangg 3 is to hit the theatres on December 20, 2019.
