While Irrfan Khan's upcoming next Karwaan is inching closer to its release. The makers of the film have released a behind-the-scenes video showcasing Irrfan's journey on the sets. The global icon plays a character named Shaukat in Karwaan. Giving a glimpse into the fun moments of Irrfan on the sets, the makers released 'Shaukat In The House' under Karwaan Diaries.

From showcasing the quirkiness of the actor on screen to the fun avatar of Irrfan off-screen, the making video is all about Irrfan's brilliant acting skills and his jolly mood on the sets. One of the most memorable scenes of the trailer is Irrfan's action scene, wherein he hangs around a car as he is about to get chased. To shoot the scene, Irrfan insisted on doing it live and thereby saved a day on the sets.

After Piku, Irrfan will once again be seen in a road trip film, along with debutants Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar. Marking the debut of the two actors, Karwaan brings together the best of all worlds as Dulquer and Mithila make their debut with an actor of the stature of Irrfan.

Karwaan revolves around 3 oddballs from different walks of life who are thrown together on a somewhat bizarre journey which helps them find normalcy in their lives. It is a road trip on which some crazy adventures take place, some lines are crossed, some bonds are forged, detours are made, experiences are shared and secrets are revealed.

An uneasy alliance is formed between three unlikely co-passengers on an eventful (and often hilarious) journey from Bangalore to Ooty to Kumarakom and finally to Kochi.

Karwaan is directed by Akarsh Khurana and is slated to release on August 3, 2018
