Like an elder sister, actress Karisma Kapoor is always rooting for and standing by her younger sibling, B-town diva Kareena Kapoor Khan. Whether it's a  house party, a casual weekend outing, Diwali celebrations or a special occasion as shifting into a new home, Karisma is always seen by her sister's side.

On the same note, this time too, when pregnant Kareena Kapoor Khan shifted to her new home with her husband-actor Saif Ali Khan and son Taimur Ali Khan, across the street from her old one -- Fortune Heights -- Karisma made sure she was there to celebrate the new beginnings with the 'Good Newwz' star.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Karisma shared a heartwarming photo with sister Kareena. One could say from looking at the photo that is was clicked on the same terrace that an earlier photo posted by Kareena on her Instagram gave a glimpse of.

The two were dressed in comfortable outfits -- Kareena in a blue printed kaftan and Karisma in a black velvet hoodie teamed with flower printed black bottoms -- as they posed for the click.

While Kareena flaunted her pregnancy glow and posed sans makeup, Karisma too opted
for no makeup, except for a shade of little pink on the lips.

"New beginnings always special #specialevening #familylove," Karisma captioned the photo.

Earlier, Kareena Kapoor Khan treated her fans with the first photo of her new home on Saturday.

By the look of it, the interiors of Kareena and Saif's new abode exudes a classy, 'understated luxurious' vibe.

In the picture, one can see one edge of her canopy bed that is neatly made with a white sheet and matching white curtains, well-aligned photos in large black frames hanging on one side of the wall, wooden doors with glass panels, dark hardwood floors, a wooden cabinet full of books with a photo frame placed on top it and a candle behind it, wall-hanging LED, a black small side table with a matching black lamp placed on it.

The photo also reveals that the room leads to a beautiful terrace with flooring done in chessboard motifs. A seating arrangement, potted plants and blooming flowers on the terrace are also visible.

"Door to new beginnings," Kareena wrote alongside the photo. She followed it up with heart and blessed emojis.

For the unversed, before moving into her new home, Kareena along with her family was staying at Mumbai's Fortune Heights.

Meanwhile, designer Darshini Shah, who is the brain behind the classic interiors of the couple's new house, divulged details about it.

Speaking about Kareena and Saif's 'dream home', Darshini told Times of India, "Saif and Kareena's new house is an extension of sorts of the old one. They had become extremely comfortable with their house in Fortune Heights; they just didn't want to move out. So, the new house, which they should be moving into shortly, has a feel of the old pad but it also meets their new set of requirements with their second baby on the way. It has a beautiful new nursery for the baby, and Taimur’s own space as he's growing up."

"It's a lot larger than their old house; it's more spacious with beautiful terraces, a swimming pool, outdoor areas, and open spaces that have been landscaped. It has room for everyone," she added.

Elaborating on the interiors of the home, Darshini said that it is a reflection of the B-town couple's classy aesthetics and love for all things 'comfort' and 'understated luxury'.

Darshini averred, "Both Saif and Kareena love understated luxury and comfort. They like their spaces to feel like their travel diaries. Everything that they have at home is something they have collected over time, and it has a memory or a story attached to it. Like, they love England, they like the colonial-classic style of decor. They also don’t like anything that's loud. Like their Fortune Heights’ home, even their new house has a library, artworks, antiques, candles, a certain kind of furniture."
