Swara Bhaskar who has given some power packed performances in the past, is an outspoken person and stands for what she believes in unanashedly.

The actress was last seen in the film Veere Di Wedding which also starred Shikha Talsania, Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

The film did very well at the box office and was appreciated by critics and audience alike.

Now recently, while in conversation with BIG MJ Dilip, Swara Bhasker talked about her Veere Di Wedding co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan and said that she is an inspiration for all working girls.

"She (Kareena) is an inspiration for working girls. She has proved that one can have a successful career along with enjoying their personal life. The way she has managed both her professional and personal life is simply amazing," Swara said.

The actress was then asked which biography she would like to work in.

On this she replied saying, "I would like to do a biography of Madhubalaji if one is ever made on this iconic Bollywood actress. If any biography is made on any historical figure, I would like to do the role of Indira Gandhi."

Meanwhile, the 30-year-old actress' body of work comfortably aligns with her feminist beliefs.

But when she featured in Veere Di Wedding, her choice was questioned from a feminist lens.

"I think Veere furthers the feminist cause in a very round about way, by showing four girls in all their flaws, doing their own thing. It's giving space to women for making mistakes, mess up and figure out themselves," Swara Bhasker said in a statement.

However, unlike the film, her latest web series It's Not That Simple season two delves into a female psyche.

"This is a very mature series. It delves into more details than perhaps a commercial film can. It talks about a single mother waiting to get divorced, having two affairs emotionally," she added.

Directed by Danish Aslam, the Voot original revolves around a modern day woman Meera (Swara Bhasker) and addresses power play, gender roles and infidelity.
